In Finnish language Tunne luonto means both “knowing” about nature and “feeling” the nature. On their Tunneluonto -walk Maija Hirvanen and Tellervo Kalleinen invite the co-walkers to reflect the relationship between knowledge and feeling when experiencing nature. Different ways of determining nature are discussed as well.
The tour was originally planned to Vartiosaari and Botanical Garden, Helsinki, but can be tailored to different environments. The context of the tours was Walkapolis -walking series by Maija Hirvanen.
